ACE will be hosting a Facebook Live session for a conversation on women in tech. Meet computer scientist, entrepreneur and educator #EmilyReid to talk about the history of women in tech, tech for social good, and her tips for budding tech entrepreneurs.
Emily Reid will give a brief history of women’s accomplishments in tech, and the great advancements women are making today!

Speaker's Bio:
Emilly Reid is the former director of education at Girls Who Code, where she developed the organization's educational strategy and oversaw the educational experience of 30,000 girls. Before that, Reid was a senior cyber security engineer at the MITRE Corporation. She is now a freelance technical and educational consultant for small companies, focusing on financial data modelling, machine learning, enterprise security, app development, and technical course/workshop development and review. She recently spent time in Casablanca, Morocco as a U.S. Speaker, where she worked with young girls interested in the STEM fields.
