AI and Smart City Ttransforming the Future of Urban Life

We recently hosted an insightful seminar on how cities in the Kurdistan Region can evolve into truly smart urban spaces. The session explored key areas, including smart governance, transportation, environmental and energy systems, and the economy, all driven by the power of digital transformation. Mr. Mohammed L. Mawlawi, University Lecturer at the University of Halabja and Founder and CEO of AI Hub, led the discussion, sharing his expertise on technologies like AI, IoT, computer vision, and advanced ICT. His engaging presentation emphasised how digital innovation can empower citizens and create dynamic, human-centred cities that enhance quality of life.
